It’s been a while since I made a practice update. I had originally planned to write a number of blogs while on maternity leave so that I could stay connected to my practice and patients. Boy, did I overcommit myself on that one! Motherhood of two is fun, but I blink and the day is over.
My return to practice will still hopefully be in the Spring, but with that there will be some changes! To begin with, I will be joining the team at Quinte Massage Therapy & Wellness, located at Bay View Mall in Belleville. They are a large clinic that offers a number of different modalities, including massage therapy, reflexology, foot care, psychotherapy and cosmetic injections. My goal has always been to work in a multidisciplinary clinic and I am looking forward to this move!
Secondly, I haven’t done a rate increase since I started practicing in Ontario in 2021, and had planned to do so on my return in the spring. That being said, my current rates are lower than QMT (and many of the other clinics within the community), so in joining them, I will be increasing my rates more then I had originally planned in order to align with my new colleagues. So, upon my return, my new rates will be as follows:
30 minute massage – $75.00
45 minute massage – $90.00
60 minute massage – $110.00
75 minute massage (a new offering for me!) – $130.00
90 minute massage – $160.00
*HST is included
I will be returning to work April 15, and I look forward to getting back to treating you all!
